Water, Water Everywhere... The Federal Aviation Adminstration has lightend it's restrictions on liquids that can be carried on to flights. This will come as good news for travelers who found it difficult to travel without their favorite water bottle. Under the new rules travelers will be allowed to carry through security checkpoints travel-size toiletries, 3 ounces or less, that fit comfortably in a one quart-size, clear plastic, zip-top bag. Airline travelers may also bring aboard items, including beverages, that have been purchased in the secure boarding area, according to a TSA release. The FFA also has lightened restrictions on other liquids including medications and baby formula but each of those must be declared at security check points. This should come as welcome news to frequent flyers! To discuss this and other travel topics visit our TuesdaysTraveler Forums. |
