Alaska Airlines adds nonstop flights
Alaska Airlines will add a nonstop daily service between San Diego and San Francisco beginning Oct. 29. San Diego County Regional Airport Authority officials announced that the airline will operate four daily flights on weekdays between the two cities and a reduced scheduled on weekends. Fares will start at $79 each way.

United Airlines is the only other airline currently offering San Francisco flights from Lindbergh Field.
